How to take a sunbath?

Go to a place where there is direct sunlight. You can either lay down or sit down under the sun, or go outside and sunbathe while doing a physical activity like walking, jogging or exercising. This way you get both the air food (fresh air) and sun food (by sunbathing).

If you are in a still position - Simply expose your front body to sunlight for 15 mins and then your back body for 15 mins. You can cover your head with a light wet cloth or keep it in the shade.

We have listed down some important points that would help you in having an effective sunbath:

● The best place to sunbathe would be an open space where you can directly receive the sunlight. Sunbathing can also be done while exercising during the early morning hours, preferably before 9 a.m.
● Keep your head covered while sunbathing. If possible, keep your head and face in the shadow while the rest of the body in the sun.
● If you are sitting while sunbathing, try to sit upright. Also, make sure that your head is covered and the sunlight falls on your back.
● Stop sunbathing before your body starts heating up. It should be taken non-violently, calmly, and as per your capability.
● The whole body should be exposed to the sun, not just the diseased parts. By doing so, the benefits of healthy skin are transferred to sick skin.
● During the day, if a situation arises when you have to walk in the sun and if the sun rays are strong, cover your head with a wet cloth to take the benefits of sunbathing while walking.
● By sunbathing, the foreign matter is removed from the body through sweat (waste of the skin) and urine (waste of the kidneys). It is observed that after sunbathing, most people’s urine & sweat turns yellow.
