Will I not get dependent on enemas if I take them regularly?

No, as long you take enemas in the right frequency and right quantity.

We recommend that once you start following the Satvic lifestyle, take an enema once every day for 21 days (take only 300 to 500 ml of water at a time). This is to ensure a master cleanse of the intestines to get rid of all the waste that has accumulated inside over a lifetime of the wrong food and lifestyle. This should be only a one-time cleanse. After 21 days, do not take it everyday. Take it only once a week (to ensure that if any toxins start getting accumulated, they are immediately flushed out of the body).

Also, if you are suffering from an acute disease or experiencing detox symptoms such as cold, cough, fever, headache, vomiting, diarrhoea or inflammation take an enema twice everyday to help the body cleanse.

Moreover, we don’t get used to taking enema. We are more likely to get used to oral laxatives consumed from the mouth - like isabgol or triphala.

Enema is not something new. It has been taught since ages (in yoga, it’s called basti). It’s been practiced since thousands of years because our ancestors all gave importance to cleansing the colon. They understand that every disease starts in the intestines.

Even Jesus Christ recommended it in the Essene Gospel of Peace.

Jesus says, " Seek, a large trailing gourd, having a stalk the length of a man; take out its inwards and fill it with water from the river which the sun has warmed. Hang it upon the branch of a tree, and kneel upon the ground before the angel of water, and suffer the end of the stalk of the trailing gourd to enter your hinder parts, that the water may flow through all your bowels. Afterwards rest kneeling on the ground before the angel of water and pray to the living God that he will forgive you all your past sins, and pray the angel of water that he will free your body from every uncleanness and disease. Then let the water run out from your body, that it may carry away from within it all the unclean and evil-smelling things of Satan. And you shall see with your eyes and smell with your nose all the abominations, and uncleannesses which defiled the temple of your body".
