How to sungaze?

Simply look at the sun with your naked eyes. It is okay to blink your eyes in between. You can do sun gazing either sitting or standing. Just make sure you keep your back straight.  If possible, sun gaze standing barefoot on the ground. By doing so, you are also earthing yourself. Years and years of sunlight trapped in the earth is transferred to your body through your feet.

Don't worry, it is absolutely safe to look directly at the sun when it is rising or setting.
